“Glad I Chose Mass Renewables”
I primarily picked this company because they don’t subcontract out the work and because they’re extremely local, and I’m glad I chose Mass Renewables! After reading horror story reviews about other companies subcontracting to crews that do terrible work or dealing with companies 50+ miles away where communication breaks down after payment, I’m happy to say none of that happened with them.
The sales process was smooth. They didn’t try to push any particular system configuration just to make me spend more. In fact, after doing the survey, they lowered the number of panels because it would have generated more than I needed. The price was exactly as quoted, spread out among three payments throughout the project. Nothing at all to complain about in the planning and post-installation process.
They actually opportunistically did the installation about a month ahead of schedule because my roof was clear of snow and their originally scheduled job wasn’t! The installation was quick and seemingly high quality. Everyone doing the installation that I talked to was pleasant and very informative.
The system wasn’t producing energy for about two months after installation due to delays from National Grid and the town inspection. You can’t blame them for that, but it’s an important point of information for people to be aware of. You’ll be excited about the installation, then have to wait for external approvals before it generates electricity. But now that it’s on, it’s (so far) exceeding my expectations!
